Ex is an undeniable true to type, insanely handsome stud. His proportions are exquisite. He has a great head on a compact solid frame.
He is dense, fine and carries his crimp and style into his extremities and underbelly. His crimp is not ultra-high frequency, but he has deep amplitude and style.
He is a real ladies man; noisy but gentle, very willing and able. He has a cheeky brown spot on his mid-side so he will be best paired with coloured females.
He is an on-farm favourite.
His sire Malakai Fire Chief, almost needs no introduction, he dominated at shows, as have many of his progeny and stamps his trademark head on almost all of his offspring; Malakai Fire n Ice, Fire chief's dam is an unbelievable female in her own right, also dominating the show ring and producing progeny that could do the same; this is an extremely valuable genetic line that we are pleased to have in our herd.
His dam, Ambleside Sapphire, is what really drew us towards Ex; this is a female who has produced at least 33 quality progeny including Galaxia who is also superstar in the Malakai herd.
Sadly, Ex has not been shown but his fleece did place first with a high score in the senior white class at Toowoomba Royal 2022.
